Jiapeng Zhao
Hardware Engineering Technical Leader
Jiapeng (Peng) Zhao graduated from the University of Rochester in 2021 with his Ph.D. research focuses on quantum optics, quantum information, nonlinear optics and ultrafast optics. He worked at Meta Reality Lab Research designing holography display for AR headsets before joining Cisco Quantum Labs in 2023. He is now in charge of the development of the Quantum Lab at Santa Monica, California, as well as the optical part of hardware development at Cisco Quantum Labs.
