Ashish Kundu
Head of Cybersecurity Research
Ashish Kundu is currently at Cisco Research as its Head of Cybersecurity Research. He worked as Research Staff Member at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center during 2011-2019. He has led security, privacy and compliance of self-driving cars and tele-operated driving at Nuro as its Head of Cybersecurity. His research has led to more than 160 patents filed with more than 150 patents granted, and more than 50 research papers. He is an ACM Distinguished Member. He has been honored with the prestigious Master Inventor recognition multiple times by IBM Research. Ashish received the CERIAS Diamond Award for outstanding contributions to cybersecurity in his doctoral research. Beyond research, Kundu is enjoys hiking, yoga and meditation, and writes novels and poetry.
